With EMSIREON, Nick Ervinck created a trophy that exudes strength and movement. Inspired by history, archaeology and science fiction at the same time, the sculpture resembles a monumental, futuristic guard, that is safeguarding an unknown sanctuary. The sculpture therefore combines tradition and innovation in a unique way. Through 3D printng and digital techniques, Ervinck created a sculpture that is impossible to be made by hand. This results in a sculpture that inspires and intriques, but also radiates a classic elegance.
